I’m very frustrated. Travelling October 1st. Applied by mail June 4th, was debited July 1st. I received my citizenship certificate back with a note saying my passport will be sent by courier August 5th. Haven’t received anything yet and I’m panicking

Had my oath same day in Mississauga and got my certificate 2 days ago. They did mention that they use standard mail during the ceremony and in the pdf attached with your oath invitation. That said, if you live in a condo, check with your concierge or post box because it might have been delivered...

Congratulations! I'm also July 2020 Mississauga applicant with DM since August 2021. Hoping mine comes after April. I'm traveling and can't sit around waiting for oath date.

Sigh, officially 7 months today since DM and nothing yet. Mississauga office. It's really disrupting my travel plans because I want to travel, but then I'm worried that when the date is close or after I've traveled, I'll get the invite for oath

Surely, the workers in the Mississauga office have to be the laziest at this point. It's going on 7 months since DM, and no oath scheduled. I want to take up an international job offer, but need my Canadian passport. This is very sad at this point.

We just have to keep waiting. I got DM August 16th.

No I haven't yet. But I think I will if I don't hear by end of the month. I've heard people that reached out to CTV got oath scheduled.

Yes. I've had DM since August 16, 2021, not heard anything back since then. I took citizenship exam in June 26th. It's getting close to 2 years now for the application.

Check the beginning of this thread, I believe there are some resources pinned you can reference. Just read discover Canada. The latest version is available on the cic website. Search "discover Canada citizenship cic". Make sure to take note of dates and names of events in the book. Good luck!!

Did anyone who applied in Mississauga and had DM in August got oath yet? I have DM since August 16th. I was hoping to travel in December, but looks like people are getting March date now.

I agree, I've had DM since August 16th from Mississauga office, nothing till now. I was supposed to travel this December, but nervous in case they schedule when I'm out. I don't want to have to reschedule. It's just a virtual ceremony, shouldn't they be pulling resources nationwide to speed up...

Hi everyone! I got a shadow update on my application since August 16th. Everything is completed and decision made, but I don't see anything else. Should I be expecting oath of ceremony from here? Or is there another update to expect?
