Application Received: July 22 (courier confirmation, I have not got an email confirmation yet)

When people here mention 'application received', is it the courier confirmation that the package was delivered or is did you all get a confirmation email form CIC?

Hi All, This is Masud here. Hope everyone is doing well. By the way, i sent out my single Citizenship Application package from scarborouh, Ontario on July 20th 2020 & it was delivered on 23rd July 2020. Now, i am waiting for AOR.
I like to request to admin to add me in this group. I like thered so much.

It is just the mail/courier confirmation that the package was delivered to the CIC-Sydney office. The CIC office will not send any updates until they open the package, at that point one gets AOR email and also it’s updated online. Currently, they are sending out AORs for late January 2020 applicants.

P.S.: quick question. After sending my application I realized I did a mistake. I signed all forms with the 06.07.2020 date, except physical presence form. I printed it next day and it had printed day on the top, so I decided to put the same date, thinking it was right thing to do. After sending all documents I checked them again on my laptop, and read on check list that all documents must be signed with same date. My fault. Do you guys know if they will return my application back, or still have a chance to go through? Thanks.

They will certainly return it. It clearly said in the instructions that the dates on the physical presence form and the application form must be the same. Time to send a brand new application, if you wait for them to open your package and return it, it will be several months waste of time.

Please resend the application as early as possible since your signature date on App and date of signature on Physical does not match.

Hi guys, thanks for your responses. I called to IRCC to confirm if I should resubmit my application. The agent said that one day of diffrence is not going to be a problem. So I don't need to resubmit. However, she used words like "I think" and "it should not be a problem". Sounds like she was not sure. LOL. I guess going to trust her, probably she knows better than me.

It's your call but it's specifically mentioned on multiple places to have same date on the 3 places. I.e. Two dates on online physical presence and the actual application
