If you have been asked to get medicals done, you will have to get them done. If you cannot get them done within 30 days, you can seek an extension.

For pregnant women, the x-ray is deferred, all other tests can be done. Consult your panel physician.

Finally time has come to share some good news. I only hoped for it because just like many of you I also ran out of patience. Despite thinking that my application is straight forward nothing went straight. My application was status quo since 24-Sep-2020, reason, well, could only figured out that our medicals were not valid for 6 months, our meds expired in Nov 2020, precisely that was the only hold. We did not hear from IRCC at all and just waited.

I ordered my gcms notes every other month just to ensure I am not missing any important message from IRCC. Our medicals were extended in Jul 2021 and then passed in Aug 2021 and got eCOPR in Sept 2021.

I also contacted our local MP and they were kind enough to follow-up with IRCC for straight 6 months. Just before the elections, I received an email from MP office that if I don't here from IRCC by end of Sept 2021 then to reach back to them and exactly that when we got our eCOPRs.

Here's my complete timeline from ITA to PR card for your reference and if it helps:

Hello @legalfalcon - I had ordered GCMS notes and found that my biometrics is stuck as the quality of biometrics was poor due to dry skin condition. Should I go for biometrics again? My file has been placed in the group - Ready for security. But criminality is pending due to this biometrics issue. Please advice.

My EE CEC application timeline:

Unless IRCC asks, there is not need for new biometrics. The Officer will make a determination.
