If your dependent's country of residence has changed you should update the address. If there is o upload window in your MyCIC account send the information via webform.

Thanks @legalfalcon I have sent the information of address via a Webform. Little skeptical as they check webforms after weeks and in this it has been mentioned that it needs to be uploaded within 7 days and without any upload button.. Hoping for the best.

What matters is that you have submitted the information. It is the date on which you submit, not the date when IRCC opens your message.

So you are all good.

The forms are not for security screening or eligibility as such. Under the immigration law, all family members, accompanying to not have to be admissible for criminality, security and medicals.

Also, for extended family members listed in the form, you have to disclose complete information about them in case you wish to sponsor them later or apply for their super visa in case of parents and grandparents.

Hello Everyone,
I got a ghost update on the 12th of March, there was an update; I passed it medical exam ( it recently expired and I am guessing it was extended). I called CIC yesterday (15th of March) and the agent told me a decision was made on my application (on the 12th of March, same day I saw the ghost update) but the decision has just not been communicated to me. She also said she can't tell me on the phone, CIC has to inform me in writing. I am just tired of this whole process. Is anyone experiencing the same thing?

A ghost may mean progress but it's all speculative and one definitely can not derive next steps based on ghost updates

If all stages have passed and your meds have renewed, then definitely you are closer then ever. However, it will also depend on whether your are glad or outland applicant.

Thanks, I am still waiting for my account to be updated. It still shows latest update: passed medical exam (I called IRCC again and the agent told me it's been approved). I hope it changes to approved soon.
