Hi @legalfalcon, I have 1 question.
Its been a long time since I did not receive any update on my file and now I want to order GCMS notes.
But i am not really sure how to fill consent form correctly. I am the only applicant - CEC Inland.
Am i supposed to fill something in Designated Representative's info or all i have to fill is Applicat's info.
Please answer.
You are better off requesting the Gcms Notes from CBSA as requesting from IRCC may take longer than usual to arrive. Since you are inland you can request from both for free for yourself and no consent is needed if requesting just your own information

@legalfalcon There is something I always asked to myself, but could not find an answer anywhere... When IRCC process a PR application and a SOWP, do they share info between Visa offices? Of course they do process eligibility separately, but do they process criminality, security, medical, independently? Because it makes no sense to me that they check twice even though those parts are identical. Once Criminality is passed in the PR for example, it should be easily passed in the SOWP as well... medical the same. But I see they passed my wife‘s medical in our PR application months ago, but not yet in her SOWP... why so?

You would think so, but that is not the case. Usually for TRV the threshold is very low, and so are the checks. Also, for a TRV you do not submit any PCC or other documents, as you submit for the PR application. Only medicals, if on record are shared, but for TRV application such as visitor's visa a medical is not required.

However, now most applicants are required to provided biometrics which has made the info sharing, criminality and security much easier and faster. But each application is independently processed.

The A11.2 Case processing officer didn't recognise my work experience. But the notes also said that job description is consistent with the lead statement and main duties as set out in the declared NOC category. What are the possible reasons for not recognising foreign work experience? What steps can I take?

Hi all,
My AOR is 27th July and my medical is not yet passed. Is there anyone who is in same boat? I got BIL request on 17th Sep, biometric not done yet. I have once updated my profile in between. I had a dependent but because of personal reasons had to remove the dependent. I have called agent and he told me my medical and background is in process. Is it normal? Is there something I have done wrong?

that is right regarding TRV, but I never mentioned TRV... in my wife’s SOWP I uploaded both PCC and medical, and pretty much all the same documents of our PR, so good to know that they are gonna be shared between my applications. I think that if medical are passed in our PR, also in the SOWP is passed, even if not shown.

is your work experience of 2Y1M quoted are INDIA based or out of INDIA based? FSW is considered only if the experience is out of your home country.

Hi @caipsnotes thank you for your advise. Could you please tell me the difference between both? and how to apply for CBSA. Just wondering if the whole procedure is same for both or not?
TIA

Its in India. Are you absolutely sure about this? Then why is review required written in the work exp section?

Hi, @anujkarwa also answered; thanks! The procedure is the same except that the consent form is different. Feel free to loop back for further questions.
