My attorney is not giving the status screenshot anymore, but looks like BIL is received. Is this normal to receive for inland applicants? I remember I have already given the fingerprints at POE when came on work permit 4 years ago.

Hi @legalfalcon - Is it safe to assume R10 is passed if I get the BIL letter?

First of all your attorney is not supposed to provide you with screenshots. Asking your attorney about updates this early amounts to taking his time form other files and honestly is just a waste of time. If you want to see updates on your MyCIC status and need screenshots, instead you can remove him and create your own account and and link your application to your account.

The R10 us usually passed along with medicals. If your medicals are passed, then your R10 should be done. BIL has nothing to do with R10.

**Update:

Medicals Passed & BIL received on August 27, 2020
RCMP requested as well

Have you gone for the fingerprinting? I went today and they told me it will take around 6 weeks to receive the result, which is very different than what the website says.

Yes I did so last Friday through an accredited agency (Worldwide Forensic Services Inc). I contacted the RCMP directly to check on the status yesterday and was told that the process was completed and the record was mailed to my address.

is this for RCMP? For Biometrics, looks like all Service Canada centers are closed until further notice. Anyone gave biometrics in Canada?

Thanks. I went to the local police station and since I live in a super small town, they did not have any idea about this RCMP check for immigration. Hopefully I got the right certificate. I might call them next week to see if they received mine.

@legalfalcon , my profile has been updated with my UCI nunber and I can see the progress bar now but haven't received any update for MEP or BIL.
Is that normal?
CEC Inland
AOR 16 July

TIA.

If your UCI number has been updated then your application has been added to the GCMS system. You will receive MEP and BIL in the next few weeks.

Should I assume that R10 is completed?

The R10 is passed around the same time as MEP. It is difficult to decipher from he MyCIC status of you have passed R10.
