My AOR on July 14th . No update since Oct 18th. Below is my current status.Is anyone with same status.

Interview

Biometrics

• October 18, 2020 Completed.

• We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision

• Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Spoke to them yesterday and the agent was like you know the files are taking 8/9 months ,you should wait for another 2 months to get an update!!

As per agent this morning:

all stages passed on Feb9, AOR July 2nd CEC inland

Security check was initiated in mid January and was completed on Feb 9, so about 2-3 weeks if it can provide some guidelines for some of you in the same situation

Last week when i called ircc, eligibility was still "recommended pass"

Got a remedical request today for the dependant.

Anyone got remedical request recently?

Does it mean the file is processed fully and waiting just for the remdeical? Or does the two have no relation at all?

Anyone on the same boat?

Medical Passed August 25, 2020
Biometrics October 9, 2020

Called IRCC, told me all the files look good, a background check has been completed on January 30, 2020, they sent my file to Etobicoke VO for a final review.

Does anyone know what are the steps they take once sent to the local VO? Just wanted to understand what are the pending steps and what are the timelines until I receive a DM/CoPR.
