My case is in Abu Dhabi office, yesterday was the last working day and there will be holiday till Aug 12th. I am expecting delay in case processing.

No, it’s still at background check.
Quite interesting.. right now processing time for Pk is 53 days and when I applied , it was 41 days so I’m still confused how come your application was processed so fast.
Hopefully it’s all good.

Abu Dhabi Canadian Embassy closed till 13 Aug 2019.

When her biometrics were taken they also took her passport, is that normal?

I haven't got email notification when they started the review but when I logged in I found status changed.

Even the visa approval the status have not changed to complete. They are still showing "we are reviewing" might be its a glitch.

Thats pretty strange glitch!! But anyway if u got the letter requesting for passport you are through! Enjoy the trip✌✌

Do you mean how many days you have to enter Canada since granted the visa?

yes

I don’t think there is a limit, you can enter Canada anytime as long as your visa is still valid for a period of maximum 6 months (unless something different is stated on your visa or the customs officer tells you otherwise when you enter Canada).
