Application recieved- August 7
AOR1- October 10
Ecas says - start processing October 9

Hi, My application was received July 31st and am still waiting for AOR. However, today I got an email asking for Biometric fees. Has anyone else been asked for the Biometric fees prior to getting AOR?

Same with me. I am Aug 06 applicant. didn't receive AOR1, but got mail to pay biometric yesterday.
Paid biometric yesterday and uploaded in webform. Hope that doesnot delay application.

By any chance any one knows how to track the webform updates to application.

What about you? only spouse or kids as well?? i am asking to see if people applied for spouse and kids are getting delayed only?

With one dependent. sad to say theres no update after AOR. hoping for us to get an update. haaaayyyy

It took 3 months for me to receive SA from the day the application was received. SA came 1 month following AOR which is longer than average. However, I did get a couple of ghost updates in the interim so I knew the application was being worked on.

I'm glad u got the SA. It's exactly 3 months and 8 days now and still no SA or bio or medical. I only got one ghost mail about 40 days ago I guess they aren't even working on my application. I'm truly frustrated at this point.

Now I'm really confused do we wait for a request for biometric or we do it without being asked? Can anyone who has done their biometric please upload a biometric request letter so we know what it looks like? Thanks

I submit the webform earlier this time when I sent application, they were saying you don't have authorization to talk on behalf of applicant in the reply to webform. I was really disappointed by the answer. Although I have submitted "Use of Representative" form for my spouse. with Myself being Representative. They took around 8-10 days to reply.

Well, in our case we submitted through our lawyer. he is our representative. but on phone calling they are not giving any information to my lawyer and just saying that till get aor they wont give any information to lawyer, only client or sponsor can contact cic for information.

Hello friends

Just received Bio Metric request email.

• Application Received: 17-Jul-2019
• AOR: 10-Sep-2019
• Bio Metric: 10-Oct-2019

Letter saying, Bio metric and photograph will be taken of PA but not mentioning any thing about 1.5 year old dependent. I know Bio-metric is not required for kids but not sure about the photograph
