I called CIC to investigate my applications and the lady said my applications are fine and sometimes the status changes on their end but not in our CIC account and that everyone's case is different. I'm just glad there is nothing wrong! Probably worth giving them a call if you're worried about it.

In case of OWP approval, how do I find out if I'm not able to link it to my profile? Do they also send an email or do I just wait for an actual paper letter?

In case of OWP approval, how do I find out if I'm not able to link it to my profile? Do they also send an email or do I just wait for an actual paper letter?

From what I've read, they'll send you an email before they mail it to you. Granted you provided an email address, of course.

Received an email with approval for temporary status (OWP). I'm a bit confused at to why it doesn't say open work permit anywhere? It says "Permit - WP-EXT" , valid for two years. Anyone have any idea? Is this an open work permit?

I am getting frustrated. I called CIC, and they said the OWP won't be looked at until End of November, and here i see people getting emails about work permit, and their applications being linked online - nothing of that sort has happened for my wife.
