Hi all, I just got a call from CIC inviting me for a virtual citizenship ceremony on July 6. Here is my timeline so far:

when you passed your test. i passed my test on feb 24 and decision made on feb 26.

Need Suggestion what shall I do? I still did not receive any notification on my test dates yet. Its more then a year almost. Below is my application details.

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 25, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 15, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on November 15, 2019.

July-2019 applicant got my AOR Oct-19. Have not received a test invite yet . Anyone in the same boat ? Asking out of curiosity , completely understand the delay due to COVID situation.

how did you get your test invite ? did it appear on the client application status check website or email or mail or phone call ?

We have an identical timeline and we are both in Calgary but my ECAS hasn't changed yet. Please update us as soon as you hear back from them. I will hopefully hear from them soon.

After a week of back and forth with IRCC, they finally believe that I did not get an email for the invite and they have contacted Calgary office to "re-issue" the invite. Not sure how long they will take or if the oath is in-person or virtual.

P.S. who don't know my situation, my ecas was updated on June 18th with invitation to appear for Oath of the 13th of July but I never actually got an email/phone call/physical mail informing me of it.

Congratulations. What are the documents they need during the oath ceremony. Did they give any guidelines or any list of documents to present during the ceremony.
