As long as you complete 1095 days plus a few days to compensate miscalculations, you are fine. Day trips or overnight trips don't count. You only count the dates (from 12am to 11.59pm) that you have been out of country. Interestingly, leaving Canada at 12.10 am or entering Canada at 11.50 pm; that day will not count as time spent outside Canada.

" When calculating an absence, the day you leave Canada and the day you return is NOT considered an absence. Both are counted as days of physical presence because you were physically in Canada for a part of the day of departure or arrival. For example, an absence between July 1, 2013 and July 15, 2013 equals 13 days of absence. As another example, if you leave Canada on July 1, 2013 and return on July 2, 2013, this equals 0 days of absence. You must still declare this as an absence. Think of it as counting only the full days outside of Canada."

This is what CBSA says

"If you are applying for Canadian Citizenship you do not need to request your Traveller History Report from the CBSA. Checking "Yes" on page 54, Question 14 (b) of your application form permits Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to collect the report on your behalf."

Interesting Numbers so far for this year, July is about to achieve least numbers in this year (only forum numbers)
