You can apply for your citizenship even with an expired passport. The only ask is that you provide all your passports covering the 5 year eligibility period. It doesn't have to be a valid passport.

Thanks Aby444. Appreciate your help.

To me these two are separate events. 1) the citizenship application and 2) getting the survey request.
I received the survey request few weeks before I sent citizenship mail.

Just my guess.
Surveys are sent out randomly. The survey's clearly mention voluntary participation with clearly no impact to your citizenship application or otherwise. I received it and decided to complete just to understand what it was all about.

Citizenship application:
Single
Edmonton
Physical Presence: 1727
Application sent: 8 July 2019
Application Delivered: 11 July 2019
AOR: not received yet

Edit: So do all of you with 1,100 - 1,400 physical presence days take extended trips back to your home country or do you take a lot of day trips across the border? Seeing everyone's numbers made me a little nervous that I calculated incorrectly, because I only take about 20 days a year to go back on vacation. :-O
As long as you complete 1095 days plus a few days to compensate miscalculations, you are fine. Day trips or overnight trips don't count. You only count the dates (from 12am to 11.59pm) that you have been out of country. Interestingly, leaving Canada at 12.10 am or entering Canada at 11.50 pm; that day will not count as time spent outside Canada.

Anyone got

IRCC Client Survey N

is there any relation to citizenship application ?
Noting at all to do with Citizenship application. See my earlier response.

I have sent my file to immigration on 27th may.it reached to them on end of the may but I haven't received any file number or anything from them yet.can any one tell me when am I suppose to receive it.its been more than two months.....
There is a processing backlog with IRCC. It can take up to 3 months to hear back from them. As someone pointed out, July applications (60-65 from this site only) is the lowest since Jan 2019. This will actually not help us but will help those applying October 2019 onward. We are victims of the backlog of earlier months :)
