Checked my application on the new system

Physical presence / language skills / prohibitions - In Progress
Background verification - Complete
Citizenship Test - Not started

They have removed the application received date! Which was May 10th, 2019 in the old system

And have Jul 25,2019 as
" Application filed
We have received your application and have begun to process your application. Information about the next steps and required action items will be coming soon"

Anyone in the same situation? Do it means my application will be finalized in Jul 2021 now?

On the new system, does anyone have an idea of what the difference is between Background verification and Prohibitions? They feel like they're the same thing and the documentation links for both point to the same page. I was curious about what the difference is.

Background is done by RCMP , last about one year. Prohibition I think is done by CSIS, don’t know how long the result lasts.

I read a few comments here saying IRCC is finalizing applications received until <April/May> 2019.
I cant see this information on the cic website though? Any pointers?

You’ll get an email next week. Usually 5-7 days before the ceremony

After how many days I will get the new online test date if i reschedule my online test date ?? I am stuck in India due to travel ban. I am July 2019 applicant and expecting online test invitation soon. Thank you all.

Passed my test this morning YAY!!!! Did my second lot of fingerprints 2 weeks ago so i am feeling hopeful to get this over with soon!
