I got call from Brampton area code number on 13th July, 2020 for my virtual oath ceremony on 22nd July,2020. I am from Brampton and my earlier oath was scheduled for 31st March at Scarborough. Till date neither ecas has been changed nor any email has been sent by IRCC. Will you pl share for your oath ceremony on 17th as to how you was contacted by IRCC by call or email or by both. Thanks

I have recently applied my citizenship(a week ago). My passport is expiring in 6 months. Should i have to wait for my AOR(application number) to update my new passport details? or Is there a way to update this information without application number?

Wait for AOR and then only you can put forward the change request.

I had my oath ceremony today. Took 15 minutes. The officials were super friendly.
Now just waiting for the documents... I think I will need to get my passport before I can truly believe it's 'over'.

I received a call on 10th from IRCC that my virtual oath ceremony is on 22nd July 2020, but till date neither received any email nor ecas updated. Would you please share as and when you received email confirming oath and instructions for Zoom. Thanks

Thank you! I never received a call, only email, so I can't say what time in between is normal. I got the email on the 8th, for the ceremony on the 17th.

Did you receive the e-mail from an e-mail address like name.surname@cic.gc.ca ?

Nope. It was from CIC-Calgary-Citizenship@cic.gc.ca. But of course it's possible other cities send from their agents directly. Mine was signed by the processing agent.
