So if I am reading this right they did your BGC in 4 days. The reason I am asking is that our BGC didn't even start yet since December 27th.

Can hardly believe how quickly things moved at the very end after so many months of stressful silence!!

Others are right when they say it is just a waiting game. As frustrating as it is - that's all we can do!

To be honest with you we are wondering if the BGC could have been started earlier than that, but LVO didn't bother to change the status in gckey. They have had our file since December.

Four days does seem a bit quick - but who knows when it comes to CIC?

In fact, if you take it literally, our BGC and finalised email were on the same day!
Highly unlikely that was all it took...

... the stress and worry that the silence creates, would be greatly alleviated if they just kept us updated via gckey. In addition it wouldn't generate as many queries to their call centre increasing their workload.

BGC was done already in Canada before sending to local VO's. If nothing suspicious then its pretty quick go around check again in your local VO.

Anytime soon you will get PPR , it depends on the work load at your VO , but anytime soon you will get the golden mail.
