Hi Friend,

Is your background check already started I mean if there is any kind of update in the GCkey stating that( “we are processing”) or they transferred the file without changing the background check status ?

For me personally, mine was transferred without changing the status of the background check.
Under review of eligibility it still states "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements"
And under background check it still says "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check"

FINALLY able to link GC Key today!! Been trying every single day for months.

PA location = England
App Received = July 19

GCKey says application is in progress, no interview needed, no medical needed, no background needed, no additional documents needed .

Is this now counting as an AOR 1 ? I still cant find anything on ECAS though re:SA . Will that come up on GCKEY ?

I was able to link the GC Key yesterday. we are in same boat. I could see in the application status that the Sponsor eligibility hasn't started yet.

Guys I am july 27 applicant.Anyone here???I called them exactly 28 days ago and they said working on july 23 applications and I will hear sth within 3 weeks maximum but nothing yet. It’s been a month now thinking of calling them again. Will it be too much of call or it’s okay to just talk one more time???

It really doesn't matter how much you call, but the CIC call agents are pretty much useless. They give out misinformation all the time and have nothing to do with the officer actually processing your file.

Called today because I haven't received AOR after almost 4 months. They gave me the app number and said it was in the system.

If you can get into ecas with it you're fine. If it's a temp number it doesn't mean it can't be returned.

On our sponsorship ecas it says under 'sponsorship application' - Decision made. We haven't had any emails or anything - does this mean that the sponsor has been approved? Or can decision made also be a rejection?

You will probably get the AOR1 email tomorrow. I was able to open my account on GCKey for 1 day and then the email came overnight for me. The AOR1 email also goes to the sponsor not the applicant.

Anyone here familiar with police clearance process in Colombia.
We have already contacted and paid G4S (one of the 2 companies that is recognized by IRCC for this process here) We won't ever receive or see these papers as they are sent to the Canadian Embassy in Bogota directly. But no confirmation of nothing since 2 last week.
