In my case, they asked for medicals 3 days after AOR.

Did your files stay in Canada (i.e. Mississauga Visa Office), or was it transferred to local visa office?

I just got transfer email to AVO today. July 9 applicant. No MR yet. SA was on Monday, Nov. 5.

Did they update your application status on ECAS/CIC as well ?

BGC is the longest part of the process. The only you would be concerned about processing times is if it runs past 12 months. Keep waiting.

I want to thank everyone in this thread, it's a hard process and I could have never done it without you. And to the people who are still waiting: I wish you the best of luck! I know it's easier said than done, but if you do everything paying as much attention as possible, you just need patience: it's going to be alright!!
I hope everyone will riunite with their loved ones as soon as possible.
I'm probably going to land around the end of January, I want to spend Christmas with my family here in Italy.
I'll stay in the forum and hopefully I can share my experience to help other people.

PPR and DM for PA on ECAS: October 18th
Passport received (Rome VO): October 24th
Application approved on MyCIC: November 7th
COPR ready: November 8th
COPR received: November 9th

I just checked my GCkey and there has been no updates since my background check, just says the background check is in process..

However I just checked the quick online tool that is updated daily and it says:

Applicant Permanent Residence Application Status
***HUSBANDS NAME** Decision Made

Does that mean we should be hearing about our PPR soon if it says Decision made?!

Praying we get an e-mail soon about PR!!

Did they update your application status on ECAS/CIC as well ?

No update on GCKey or ECAS. Typically, ECAS is always a day late for updates. I, the sponsor, got the transfer email. I'm a little worried because Accra Visa office is still processing applications with AOR from last year. I pray ours gets treated soon.

Congrats!! one question, were you the representative to the application ( i mean did you fill the use of representative form), I am still confused who receives the PPR email. Some said PA would receive it.
