If Case Processing Centre find the sponsors to be
eligible, they transfer the sponsorship information and a positive recommendation electronically to the appropriate visa office through Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System (ex- CAIPS). In addition, it would send the IMM0008 and the supporting documents in paper format to the visa office for processing, hopefully BY AIR
not by SEA
LOL....
If they find the sponsors to be
ineligible, Case Processing Centre would transfer the documentation to the visa office along with a
negative sponsorship recommendation. Or, in case the sponsor has specified a stated preference for discontinuing the application, the Case Processing Centre would need to discontinue the application for a permanent residence visa. Ineligible sponsors might opt to not continue with the sponsorship. In this case, the CPC would need to close the electronic sponsorship records.
As the technology advances things keep on changing so are the Processes. They now ask applicants upload Photos thru web in few doubtful cases. But I am sure in future they will accept all photos thru web.
