Hi,

I have a friend who will be landing as a PR in March 2019 and once he gets a survival job, he wants to initiate sponsorship for his wife, so after getting his 1st pay slip, can he initiate family class sponsorship - outland with his pay stub, a letter from his employer and proof of funds, i.e. a fixed deposit in India of amount equivalent to 14k-15k CAD, provided all other docs are ready, kindly guide..

Does he need some help here? Which city he is landing in?

Does anyone know what happens after final decision is made? Like do they send your permanent resident document to you (if Outland)? Do you have to go pick it up? Do they schedule a specific time you need to go to Canada etc?

I applied for outland application for my wife in July 10. No communication from CIC so far. Stressful situation. Any one on the same boat. Please suggest what should I do now.

July 20th here havent received anything.

July 20th applicant no A0R email yet,
But able to check my ECAS.
Im trying to link to gckey but it wont go thru or maybe i did the wrong procedure to link it.

Kindly please help me.

Whos information should be on the APPLICATION DETAILS? (sponsor or applicant)

- do i need to put 0 for the number of applicant (ex. 04?)
- how about passport number? ( should i include the Letter or just the number?

Try to link with the same information you tried to pull up the information on ECAS.

Hope it helps. Also while linking it would lock the linking procedure for 24 hours if the attempts are more than 5 times. Hope it helps.

We sent our file on july 11th and till now we didn't receive anything not any mail or nothing not even AOR. what can be the cause of delay..it's been 86 days !! Is there any way that I can know what's going on with it.. I'm applicat of spousal sponsershis Canada

You can go to sponsors ECAS and check the notes there. Provide sponsors UCI and other details and it will display the notes . For me as a sponsor/representative I have received AOR1 and medical request (No SA email yet). But when I look in ECAS it displays decision made for sponsorship part and PR process for principal applicant is still in progress.

Oh OK Toronto is a big city, more population>more jobs may be but bit more>inflation as well , hard to find housing. In Alberta we pay 5% tax so far don't know next, jobs are many here too. House prices in Toronto went sky high last year while here it is same or even fallen down a bit. On the whole if 1 is happy in any city that's it . He should adjust himself there And always as a Canadian he can move any cities later dates.
