Application received on July 3 2018 now the file is in Ankara, and nothing yet. Just sitting and waiting

For now interview not needed. They are not requesting biometrics for now either

For now they are saying no but things may change. All the best to you. I don’t think that’s necessarily a delay but many things may cause a delay

Hello Everyone,

Happy new year, and hope there will be good news from July applicants soon. Question, I am planning to apply for a TRV soon, it is a gamble, but we had a terror attack in my home country and my husband is not feeling safe here anymore. The alternative is to try and see whether I can travel to Canada and we wait for the PR from there. We had travelled to the US for December holiday and came back so maybe that might help to show I will return back.

What documents should i attach to show my spouse application is being processed?

There is no significant delay as it's the very first thing you will get along with Medical Instructions.

Anyone whose application was received from 31st July 2018 and onwards will get BIL (Biometric Instruction Letter). Anyone who applied before that date will most likely not receive BIL.

Hi july 27th applicant here. We recieved our AOR2 today after passing the medical on December 5th. The letter only says that the file has been transferred to london visa office. Does that mean our background check has started or is about to start?
