Sorry to hear your application is returned. I can realize after 2 or 2.5 months application returned is too painful. What information you have missed.

It depends. If any form have been updated, you have to fill out the new form.

Hello everyone.
I applied for citizenship on May 24, 2018 in Sydney, NS. for myself and my son. But our applications were returned in Mid July because my son's Birth Certificate was missing that I enclosed again and sent the application back to the same office in a week. After that I never heard anything from IRCC.
I made a call to IRCC last week and they said they are still processing June 2018 applicants so it would be too early to discuss the status of our application at this stage. They further said since the application was incomplete so they wouldn't consider those two months in the processing time.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
