Bad news. Just had my application returned stating physical presence calculator print out is missing and there in the returned pack is the physical calculator presence print out from the internet with my number of days on it!!! Does anyone know do I have to pay again? They say fees have not been taken and the receipt I paid has been returned, but it then asks if I want to claim a refund.

You can send it again just by adding/highlighting the missing things and you don't need to pay the fee again.
Your application will start from the beginning and will not be queued back with July applicants.

Thanks - as my photos are now dated more than 3 months after they were taken (on the back) and the form is dated 15 May will they be out of date now - will they reject it if I just resend? There was nothing missing from the application the item they sent it back (my physical presence print out) was in there - so frustrating. They must have missed it! The whole form is dated 15 May so it is now more than 3 months old - does it matter?

That is bad news for sure. I didnt think there would be such a mistake. Is the physical presence calculator issue, the only thing mentioned on the return mail note? How many days has it been since you sent it? Also, if you just received the package, I would think that you should call the IRCC Help line and ask if you can resend - and explain this situation to them. I am unsure how you could prove the presence calculator printout was part of the original package, though. Anyone with experience on this, can you comment?

When you call IRCC helpline, you should ask these questions to them. My 2 cents would be to take the photo's again (but the help files state the pics should be within the last 6 months so you are actually safe). The form if it is the latest version should be fine but you will need to add the dates from the time you sent to the current date for your presence and employment so I guess you will need a new filled out form. I know - terrible - but it needs to be done. Best get it over with completely and without errors.

For the physical presence form, send the old one and a new one and indicate that the old one was part of the original package in a note to be attached explaining why you are "resending" the package and mention that you would request that the original date of the application be considered for the processing, if possible as the package was complete when you sent it but the physical presence form was inadvertently missed. I am not sure they will consider this as it will be "your word" against "the agents" but if you are brief, respectful and to-the-point, there is a chance they will consider the original date.

All said, it is the processing officers discretion no matter what. You will just have to bite the bullet here and move on. Have a good one, Little Un.

1. Which application was returned here LittleUn / West Ham Andy? June 27th or August 7th?
2. How was your physical presence 1151 in July and dropped to 1128 in August?
3. How did you reapply on 7th August when your application was returned only on 20/21st August?

Not sure what is the aim of the threads. If OP would care to explain, it would lead to better answers, if needed.

Hi HLR - I believe we have enough evidence that reapplication causes requeuing of application as is seen in the tracking sheets. There are atleast 4 different people whose timelines have been reset after package was sent back as incomplete. Nevertheless - this case has more to it than meets the eye - please see my comments.

Sorry to hear abt this...
But I think you should use the opportunity to fill in the latest forms available.
Since your application will be considered as a new one, better to use latest form.

I think I also said the same thing that he will NOT be placed in the old queue (July applicants). He will be treated as a fresh candidate. This has happened to me as well.

I submitted my application without the Police Clearance from other country because it requires the original letter of request from CIC. Anyone received this such request from CIC after submission of the citizenship application?

I have the same situation. My wife spent more than 180 days out of canada and I gave the PCC from the home country.
Have not heard anything yet about the application. I will update here once i get update on my next step.

Mine has been returned WITH the physical presence calculation document inside the pack, with a rejection stating that I had not included one. It was clearly an absolute mess up by immigration. I was stunned. I have this morning called the CIC helpline and you guessed I have to do a whole new form and new photos, and change the date because my form is now out of date. I am so gutted, my husband couldn't believe it either when I opened the returned pack and third document in was the Physical presence calculator. To be honest I am now just starting again. Gutted.
