Called them today. The agent informed that my file was in queue for test invitation at Scarborough Office. Wonder how much more time will it take?
My other issue is that my spouse and my son are going out of Canada next week & won’t be able to return very soon. Wonder what will happen if we get test invite during their absence.

I called IRCC last month and the guy I talked said he would leave a message to Scarborough office. Today I called back. the lady said that the message sent last month was not even read. she said she would leave another message on it.

I got my Oath Ceremony date for Sep 24 in Mississauga, but unfortunately I won't be in the country from Sep 23 to Oct 17.

The Oath letter says I need to send a mail with my explanation. Anyone know if I can ask for the Oath date to be preponed? Do I need to provide proof of my flights?

Actually ours is a family application of four with only my wife required to take the test.
My Question!
If she postpones her test what will be the status of remaining three members? Will they receive interview/oath invitation independent of her taking/not taking test?
Or the fate of remaining three members will also be tied to her taking the test?
Any learned response will be highly appreciated.

No harm in requesting but be quick about sending an email with ur request and your ticket saying u will not be in country and request prepone of oath ceremony

14 months and no test date.
I m tried of waiting. I have a ailing grandmother that I need to visit. I m so frustrated. I litreally feel like dying. Screw my Tax

Hi Rahuul,

U can visit your grand mother at this time. Even if you get a test invite, it will be with 3-4 weeks notice.
And test can always be re-scheduled, but it will be a further delay of 4-6 weeks.

I wrote it last Monday (Aug 19) expected oath Oct2019. But I got the oath invite today with the date as Sept 26 2019.
