I passed the test with flying colours!

And I have to say I OVER STUDIED. I guess it’s better to be well prepared.
The test was soooooooooo easy!
Please update the spreadsheet @iceberge.
Thank you!

Hi everyone,
i have to submit citizenship application for my mother in Law this week. Just find out eye color and height is different on 2 piece of id's. Will it have any effect?or should i attach an explanation along with application.

Hi, I am also a Toronto applicant. I have been checking this forum quite a few times a day since New Year. It seems there weren't many GTA applicants who recently received Test Invite. This is true not only for July applicants, but also for June, May, and April applicants if you check their threads. I am hoping we will start receiving Test Invite toward end of Jan. or early Feb. for the actually Test in late Feb. or Mar. We can only keep our fingers crossed.
Thanks for this info, very interesting, It appears there are lots of applicants from Toronto still waiting. Easier to track a package from Amazon than your status with the CIC.... lol

Good luck to all still waiting... we wil be citizens soon

Passed my exam in Montreal today. waiting for the ceremony now! Will update once my status changes on ECAS.

Good luck y'all!

Finger print is not required for everyone also processing time depend on the location. Where have you applied from. Which province and which city please provide.

Thanks.

Hi, Is there a fee for finger printing? My mom who applied last July got a finger printing letter in her email dated Dec 4 but we just saw it now since she doesn't check her email at all and thinking that any correspondence will be by mail.

If u do the fingerprints to the RCMP there is no fee other way if you do it from privet organization who will send the report to RCMP that will be fees. $50-70. But RCMP always full and privet org have available date all time.

I had my test & interview today in Edmonton. All went smoothly but there was a line up to walk in. They open the door exactly at the time of the appointment (it was 8:15am for me). After the test my interview came up fairly fast, the officer was very pleasant, told me I passed with a score of 19/20 (that one question will bug me forever) and I have to sign a couple docs, answered a few questions about my job, partner, trips and that's it. Very smooth process, the officer said if all is fine with my file, the next step is there oath!

good luck all.

Congrats
