So I have a question. Her passport is expiring in July 2020 and she’s getting a new one. Does she need to provide any information to IRCC in regards to this?
I think yes. She will have to apply for renewal or re-issue of passport and once it arrives send scanned copies of printed pages to CIC using webform. Once done, I recommend calling CIC as well and confirming that they received it and everything is in order.

I think I've almost lost hope. Even after remedical passing I dont see any movement. Most of them are saying they got PPR same day or next day after passing remedical.
In fact your hopes should be raised, and you should be happier. Because re-medical is always a good sign I have read, and PPR could be late but it is more surely there, and more closer now.
Keep calling CIC I will say about every 15 days or so.

Our file is in NDVO and hence we wont get any information when we call. They say they dont have any access to files in NDVO.

I think you should send an email to the visa office regarding delay of ppr. Sometimes they delay without any reason and many applicants got ppr immediately send email to them.
Will try that and web form. Eventhough NDVO ensures not to reply to a single email. They're very professional

Renewed passport should be provided through a webform , it will be mandatory when she receives PPR to submit passport that has at least 1 year validity from date of submission so it is better to do it now. I have been a silent reader of ur story , I wish u all the best.

I had the same feelings too but it finally ended for me after more than 1 year of waiting so it will definitely end for u too . It’s quite a hardship & a very difficult test for patience especially when u have ur life plans kept on hold. Stay strong :)

We've been waiting almost 1.5 years. And I'm not hearing to any PPRs being issued from NDVO. I'm getting worried. I

At this point it's simply time to take action. For me it's a simple matter of arithmetic. Ireland was ranked 3rd by the UN for quality of life, Canada ranked 13th. I simply cannot allow this process to rule our lives anymore. That is why I refuse to hold out past March.
