Hi guys! I email LVO last Sept 5, 2019 and received a response stating that a visa officer in charge of my application has decided that an interview is required, but they did not give any schedule yet. And when I emailed Mr. Goodales' office, he replied with my below status:
---- Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.
Criminality passed.
Eligibility requires review.
Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.
Medicals are expired – no action required at this time. -----
Where do you think I stand? Because honestly, I don't know if I should be happy or not of my status. I need your thoughts on this please guys.

At this point I don’t see any reason to be happy about any of it. This has gone far beyond any acceptable conduct or timeline.

As with everything in this god forsaken process, there is no min or max time. It’s just whenever they damn well feel like processing things.
Hey CanSym, does your local MP intervene and asks about your file to CIC ?
I email my MP once a month, and he says CIC is waiting on outside agencies to complete their review. Until they finish, CIC cannot do anything.
Also, I read that your fiance's application is in review. How about your application? Is it completed?
I’m a Canadian citizen. We’ve talked to our MP several times. In her case she applied previously and was denied. Her foreign work was using the wrong NOC. It dropped her score one point below the cutoff. She reapplied but went review required for foreign work. Been there ever since.
