My background check updated today morning to "We are processing your background check."
This afternoon i received below reply of CSE:

We verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with your application.
All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.
Furthermore, The background verifications are currently valid for criminality and have not been initiated for security yet. The medical examination results on file are valid.
Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

So it means my criminality is done and security check not started yet.

Hi there, my applicatiin is in Montreal too , my AOR IS July 30.
I am not really sure if Montreal is slow as I'm seeing this days cases in Ottawa, Nova Scotia and Sydney are crossing the 6 months claimed to be the normal processing time, anyways people in Montreal receive their pprs starting from 5.5 to 6.5 months as an average. there is a thread here for cases in Montreal, U may join for more insight and support

Did you receive your PPR yet?

Nah..still waiting, nothing after IP1
Ugh, sucks.
I'm also stuck in IP1, Sept applicant though.
I ordered GCMS notes a couple weeks ago, just in case there is something off with my app that I can learn from it.
Did you learned if your application was marked as requires review, or why the hold up?

July 7th here- verbally told I was approved on Dec 19th. Still waiting- most recent CSE I sent said they are following up and if I don't hear from them by Feb 10th to reach out again.

Ohkk....How do you send CSE? Is it the same thing as raising the webform? Or is it some different process? Sorry I have no idea, so wanted to check with you....

W
So my AOR was 10th July 2018
I passed my medicals on 27th July
I got an additional document request on 8th July which I submitted within 2-3 days and it was approved
After a long wait, I got my RPRF request on 5th December which I paid on same day
The 6 month processing time is already over on 10th Jan'19
I ve ordered GCMS notes which do not show any hold-up
I wrote them a mail on 11th Jan asking for the status, they replied on 15th Jan "a decision has been made and the responsible office should contact you soon"
I called CIC last week, and the agent said everything looks fine and you should be getting a letter soon
It's been 6months and 18days, where does my application seem to be stuck? Why is it getting so delayed for me? In how much can I expect the PPR?
My application is in Ottawa office
email Ottawa that your application has been approved but you're yet to receive the ready for visa letter (PPR).
Search this thread for the email address.

Yes. You should start a data base for security not started fellows on this July thread with their AORs and visa offices. Might help you guys understan the trend.

Call to Action
Is there any one with a July AOR that's not seen any movement at all on their application (no IP2, no ghost updates, no ADRS, nothing) and still hasn't ordered GCMS notes to find out whats happening??
You're already at least 2 months too late on doing that but don't be later. Order the Notes
ASAP!

CSE & webform mean the same thing.

@Smmm Hey, about the S.15(1) in my GCMS notes.
I had a s.15(1) on page 6. That was the client details section.
The 2nd s.15(1) was in page 27- 28 where Admissibilites section started.
The first admissibility sub sect was security which cut across both pages. ( the Security info there seemed to have been wiped off)

...
Still haven't seen any s.16(1) will check again and let you know if I come across any..

Hi Tobs,

I have had the last update on Dec 18 with additional doc reviewed. I was waiting patiently hoping the good news will come soon but no luck. Read a lot of msgs here and have finally ordered GCMS notes yesterday. You have any clue whats happening for outland applicants as well?
