Yes do that asap.
Let the bank statement be for 12 months if possible. 6 months before you submitted and 6 months after submission.
Also submit bank letters for the savings & FD in the format CIC requires.
Write a LOE explaining everything.
But you're lucky your application wasn't denied because you didn't submit POF required.
Be proactive and try to get things right this time.
I got the letter of explanation along with new bank statements and fd certificates ready. where should i submit the forms?

Is anyone's file here in AVO
I have not heard anything from CIC. Have you?

AOR 25/07;
MEP 17/08

A request:

Folks please use this link to provide feedback to CIC on their services https://secure.cic.gc.ca/feedback-retroaction/feedback-retroaction-eng.aspx

Choose the option to "Comment" and then "processing times". I think even our friends who have received PPR can fill this out. It is just a feedback form which I'm not sure if anyone reads or not. But even if there is 1% chance someone will read it and take it to the right people it is worth a try.

I think either you have received PPR by now or the time has gone for an early PPR but it may help someone else down the road.

If you choose to take out 5 minutes of your time. Below are some of the points I suggest the feedback may focus on (You can completely disregard below list or add/edit however you like)

  • Let them know that the process not being FIFO adds to worries of candidates. We understand it can't be 100% FIFO but efforts must be taken to do so.
  • Let them know we have seen many GCMS notes which clearly show that the file was actually delays since no one looked at the file for months!
  • Let them know that some visa offices are definitely very slow compared to others. Examples Montreal or recent case of Sydney not releasng PPR unless someone emailed NDVO which is counter intuitive and weird.
  • Let them know again that the progress bar is basically useless
  • Request them to setup a separate helpline or email or a process to expedite or prioritize cases already beyond the normal 6 months timeline. What's the use of the timeline if we don't have a recourse after time has elapsed

Thank you for taking time and reading this. And thanks in advance if you are going to take action and fill the feedback form. Have a wonderful holiday season!

AOR - 13 Aug, fsw (o), Indian living in Myanmar, travel history of visit to seven countries for self and spouse.

Spoke to an IRCC agent yesterday and also got GCMS notes. Same info. Eligibility- Recommended Pass
Medical- Pass
Criminality - Pass
Security - Not started

Wondering why Security has not been started yet?

I received my GCMS notes this morning. Really pissed:

1. It took them 8 weeks to issue me these notes (twice the time they initially promised)
2. I emailed IRCC thrice in last 6 weeks - Each of their reply ensured me that my application is in good standing and that everything is in process. However, the notes confirmed that my FSW-Outland application has had no update since Aug 20th
3. Apparently, the case officer put my file on hold because he wasn't happy with the job verification letters. This is absurd - Both the letter comes from billion dollar companies; my friends have never had an issue with their letter. Why the unnecessary scrutiny?!

Anyways, the purpose of my message is to give you one piece of advise. Order your GCMS notes every month starting 15 days from your AOR. I think that it's worth spending $15 USD every month rather than being completely blind for 6 months (normal processing time assigned by IRCC)

Many people are waiting for security to start as well.

I endorse your advise. Sorry about the frustration.
