When I landed in US, I don't remember them asking me for any documents, just 2 questions and got the stamp and went to agriculture department ( we carry lot of food around lol). But I had it in my backpack along with photocopies of spouse's documents. In the case of Canada even if you are accompanying spouse you will have your own visa stamped in your passport and COPR so you should be fine because you already provided it with the application. Besides there is no harm in carrying one with you if you are asked for it. I don't know where you have it registered but in my case I can download as many copies as I want from the website of the state where we registered it. And funnily enough that is an original document even though it doesn't look like one so we made sure we laminated it, people easily accept the laminated copy when actually they are all the same. The state doesn't give any physical copies anymore to make it easier for people to get one from anywhere once it is registered. Sorry for the long reply. But you can keep a copy with you in these specific situations but otherwise no one really asks.

Thanks so much for the response. When you said 'have it registered' on line 13. I would assume that the 'it' means your marriage certificate? Is this correct ?

So what do u think will it be a hinder or we will get our ppr mail within 6 months time frame.
Hope for the best.

@tobs @RaulFloyd - I dont think Sydney, NS will issue the PPR email. The file will move to the local VO in our case and they will issue PPR. Correct me if I am wrong?
That's what we have seen so far. Sydney sending the applications to NDVO to be issued. But there are still lots of people waiting, so it's possible that Sydney will also send some PPRs.

Hi , I have been a silent reader to this group.i need help/ guidance wrt my case....
My Aor -4th July

On 30th Oct mail from Ralph confirm my VO is Ottawa

IP2- 31st Oct

Called CIC on 15 Nov they said VO office Ottawa, eligibility proposed met, criminality passed, security yet to start.

On 10th December got ghost update

On 18th December called CIC again they said all passed, file approved just PPR mail is to be send . ( Didn't asked about vo this time)

I raised CSE last Friday ie 14th but got reply today mentioned my eligibility still under review and file is at Sydney Nova Scotia...

This let me confused an worried now...please guide
@Jaywalker @RaulFloyd Anyone thinking of raising a CSE in light of this "under review" despite Application approved status?

On second thought I guess we should just wait till the day our application exceeds 6 months. Then we raise a CSE. Mine is 22 days from now.

This is just weird. Most probably the CSE response was created earlier than the day of approval. Once it’s approved its a done case. I asked the agent same thing and she confirmed me that it’s done. Just wait for the PPR email.

Well my 6 months complete on January 26. It’s quiet some time- I don’t think I will have patience to wait till that date
