Hi, Has anyone received a Furtherance letter. I received an email with subject as Furtherance letter. The UCI mentioned in email doesn't match the UCI in my profile. Mail says below. Does this mean I need additional medical tests? How about mismatch in UCI?

"This refers to your application for permanent residence / temporary residence in Canada. Further medical information is required before a decision can be reached. Details have been sent to your e-Medical file regarding the medical information required. Please return to see the panel physician who performed your immigration medical examination or to another e-Medical enabled panel physician. A list of all panel physicians can be found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx. The panel physician will arrange for the additional medical tests to be carried out and will forward the results directly to this office.

Please print a copy of this letter for your records.

You have 60 days from the date of this letter to comply with this request."

Contact the physician who conducted your medical. He will be able to let you know if the UCI mismatch caused someone else's letter to you, or it is yours.

Based on what you get, contact IRCC. If the letter is meant for you, then go ahead for your further medical tests.

If you recently filed your PR application, and you have never filed any application in the past, then the UCI number you see on MyCIC is a temporary one.

Anyone here with AOR July 18 and medical not yet passed?
When I call cic the update is they are “we reviewing medical exam results”
Any thoughts why it is taking so long?
The reason could vary from when your IRCC Panel physician sent the medicals docs, was it paper based or e-medica, when actually IRCC received it, medical status, workload etc.

What i could suggest is confirm when your doctor sent the medicals just to know if that has something to do about the time. Its too early for GCMS Notes also and If IRCC agent said that medical docs are already received and is being reviewed then all you can do is wait for now.

Thanks for the reply. Panel physician has uploaded results through e-medical online tool. I have also attached my email conversation with panel physician confirming that he uploaded results, along with the document we received during upfront medical exam. I guess I have no other option other than waiting.

Thank you. I contacted panel physician's office and their designated person will look and get back to me.

Regarding UCI, this is my first PR application after ITA. The UCI number in MyCIC is shown in format as CAN0000XXXXXXXX. Do you mean this UCI is temporary?

The UCI in the Furtherance letter email is in format TXXXXXXXXXXXX. The numbers are different.

The UCI that starts with CAN is a temporary one. All UCI numbers are in 12-1234-1234 or 1234-1234 format. After you submit your application and your application is complete, only then will your UCI number be assigned to you.

The number that starts with T, not sure about that.

Hi legal falcon,

Do you have any idea on this :

submitted my application for PR on the 25th July and received a mail today regarding :
Release of Information IMM5475: A signed and completed Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual form (IMM5475) bearing original signatures.

I am the primary applicant and me and my spouse both designated each other when we filled the express entry profile.
My question is do just I need to fill the form or we need to fill 2 forms and upload?
Also in the form it says which office / location did we submit our application for PR. What should I mention there?

Thanks

Thank you for your help. What do you mean by complete application after submission? I had gone for medical exam, then uploaded all documents and submitted and received AOR. Is the status complete after a certain stage after AOR? What is that stage?

R10 is when completeness check happens. And your days to PPR start from R10 and not e-apr.
If MEP are passed, it is safe to assume R10 checks are done.
