No not yet unfortunately... almost 45 days nowHi Pris,
Any news on your GCMS notes? I received the same generic email saying that the 35 days limit has expired and that they have requested the note status.

I ordered new ones. I hope it works this time...No not yet unfortunately... almost 45 days now
This what all candidates say , but I don't know whether it's true or not .What happened to the trend that: If you are long stuck at IP1 you will soon get PPR after IP2, and If it took very little time to go from IP1 to IP2 then there is long wait before PPR. Is that still valid?
For me, they just started by background check, which I assume makes me an IP1. The problem is, since I did not receive any notification message, I may have missed the 'not applicable' status and be already on IP2.This what all candidates say , but I don't know whether it's true or not .
Do you know your visa office?Almost 4 months for me and i am still in IP1. 7th july AOR, country of residence is Nigeria.
That trend stopped about two months ago. What happened to the trend that: If you are long stuck at IP1 you will soon get PPR after IP2, and If it took very little time to go from IP1 to IP2 then there is long wait before PPR. Is that still valid?

Either way, as someone already said, those are just "made up status" based on applicants' feedback, and does not reflect the real individual status. I have read about some people that did not even have any updates before the PPR. I assume the status update is done manually by the visa officer, so it is not really reliable.
In my case, the only thing I know (and not even for sure) is that they finally started my background check after 100+ days since AOR...
I also applied through a consultant in Delhi though I work in Mayanmar. I ask them monthly screenshot/update which they email me on the same day.Crossed 100 day mark. (104 running)
AOR: 24-July,
MEP: 17-August,
No further updates, as I applied through Consultancy.
Why IP2? Since I received my Meds the BC status was always "We will send you a message when we start your background check". This is the first BC status update. You are in IP2
Wasn't it you that posted this earlier? Why IP2? Since I received my Meds the BC status was always "We will send you a message when we start your background check". This is the first BC status update.
I mean, if I am really IP2 that would be awesome, as by the trends I should be receiving the PPR in the next weeks.
stay positive!I have the exact same AOR. Just relax. We're barley 4 months in, as long as it is under six months we're still good. You can order gcms to get in depth information
