We haven't been transferred either. I believe it's because we've had some technical issues though where they said they can see requests for schedule A and PCC have been sent but they haven't. They told me to fill out a technical report and now I wait because apparently the tech people are the ones who re-send it.Hey all .
Is there any of July applicants who still didn't get his or her file transferred to the visa office??
I finished everything the last thing was the medical and it was done 14/9 and it's updated in the cic account. So I don't know why they still have the file in Canada !!??
Mmmm idk what's the issue with my file everything looks oky I submitted everything and it's says the additional documents are uploaded it I'll call them and checkWe haven't been transferred either. Just wondering if anyone that's applied is having their application reviewed by Mississauga as opposed to the Visa Office in their country?
I'm from New Zealand living in Australia so I was expecting to have my application reviewed by Visa Office Sydney, but from what I've read, Mississauga is pretty fast in processing applications so I'm hoping I got lucky with having my file transferred to Mississauga.
We were notified our application will be processed in Mississauga as well. I am the Canadian, living in the US with my American spouse and our kids. Good luck to you and all of us! I hope our applications get processed quickly. My timeline is:

You have nothing to do but wait, now. It may take a few months for your BG check to switch to in progress, because that is the final step of the processing! And you won't receive any updates between now and then. Now is the time that they analyze the genuineness of your relationship etc.Hello All,
My husband submitted his outbound application on July 24, 2017 he is currently in Jordan. Medical requested September 10, Medical completed September 13, results submitted September 16, got medical passed update in online account September 17. File was then transferred to Bucharest September 23 and received update on online status check form to starting processing application September 27, 2017. No update yet in the online account and no background check in progress yet. Anyone know how long it will be until there is an update or background check will change to in progress? anyone have their application in Bucharest as well? if so what has your time line been like? any help is greatly appreciated
I submitted everything on Aug 23rd and file got transferred on Oct. 9th to NDVO. Its normal. Dw.Mmmm idk what's the issue with my file everything looks oky I submitted everything and it's says the additional documents are uploaded it I'll call them and check
I think you may have misread my comment. I stated that after AOR2, but before the background check, is when they analyze the genuineness of the relationship. The person I was responding to has received AOR2 but does not have background check in progress yet.Is it during the background check they analyze the genuineness of your relationship? I thought bgc was solely on security and criminality
I got the Mississauga email too! (Canadian sponsoring my American Husband) So that's AOR2? ECAS hasn't changed for me yet, so I wasn't sure...My timeline is:

That is just the stage when they assess if they believe your relationship is genuine or not. Some visa offices won't even tell you when they start the background check, they won't put it on GCkey, so sometimes you wouldn't even know the background check has started and then they just request the passport suddenly. This stage can take from just a couple of weeks to months if they need an interview or have concerns about the relationship.Oh okay Gotcha.
I did not know there was a step in between AOR2 and BGC. Can you link me to more info on this or a section in this forum where it is elaborated more on?
