I think after you get your sponsorship approval, they focus more on the Principal Applicant.
So if you move outside of Canada, it may not cause a major issue.

If you recently submitted an application, I do not think they care where you go before you get your acknowledgement e-mail 1.

I mean, can i apply for visit visa to go to Canada , while my sponsorship application is submitted in July 2017.

Yes, of course you can. But generally, they tend to not to give visa for the spouse of a PR.

Absolutely you can. Ensure that you have all your proof that its only going to be a visit and include your documentation that the app is in process. Many people have had success. The prior poster is incorrect. They will give a visitor visa to many spouses in the process

Hello, send my application on June 27th and it was received on the 29th. I havent heard anything since... anyone who send it around the same time received a response yet? I didnt know about the text option :( so I dont even know if they open it yet
We sent our app June 26 and it was received June 27 no AOR yet. Maybe this week coming or first week of Aug.

Hello everyone, we just recently sent our outland application out on the 19th of July and it was received on the 21st.
And I already have a problem :(

I logged onto the cic website to check the processing times when I saw the alert for the updated checklist form.
"We’ve updated the Document Checklist to make it easier to use and understand. If you’ve been preparing your application package using the previous checklist, we’ll still accept your application until July 15th, 2017. You can tell if you’re using the old version of the checklist if the bottom corner of the page is dated “(12-2016)”.

We used the 12-2016 checklist but I cross checked everything and we've done everything right. I have a gut feeling that our application will be returned since the announcement does say that the checklist is accepted up until July 15th and we submitted ours on the 19th. Will the package be returned to the mailing address that we listed in the forms that we filled out? But first, you guys think that it will be returned?

Is there any Canadian citizen here sponsoring wife while staying outside Canada?
Do you need provide any proof that you will be back to Canada?
If yes, what types of proof do you give?

Yes, you need to provide proof of intent to return to Canada upon approval of PR.

We provided a letter from sponsors brother with a job offer and place to stay if needed and support if needed, the sponsor also provided a detailed plan of returning and what we want to do.

Unfortunately, yes. What you can do proactively send all new forms with a cover letter requesting it to replace old forms.

How soon before they return an application. We would like to send the updated forms before the application is returned. If we get on sending out the new forms and them receiving it this week, that should be enough notice right?

Sorry you'll have to wait for them to send the app back, then you update the checklist and resend everything. Though I saw few people who got request to change/send missing docs/update. It all depends on the officer who got your app.

Hi!

Just a quick question, we decided to submit my police clearance and sched A in my application, will IRCC return my application?

They may, given that it clearly states in the document checklist to not submit these documents with the application, that they will be requested later on. Keep in mind that the police check has an expiry date. They may return the application or request that you re-submit the schedule A and the police certificate, so might not be a bad idea to request it again.
