Okay now that I have received FP request and it says the office address is at St. Claire, so even if I live in Scarborough, my processing office will be at St. Claire?

Hi guys! Application in process Sept. 12 please update.
But we received a letter today from IRCC Winnipeg requesting for my partners fingerprint, exit and entry record from country of citizenship and provincial health claim summary. My question is for the entry/exit record do i have to contact my home country embassy to obtain this record? Or the stamps on the passport is enough? Is there anyone here who have the same situation.. hoping for your advice.. thanks

@kmb888 Exit entry record will be issued from home country. If it is not in english you have to get it translated by authorized translator in canada in english. passport stamps are not sufficient. Infact it will be great idea to translate passport stamps that are not in english to be translated in english. I did both of above :)

Did you have a lot of trips to your home country?

Just 2 times. When we left for good and just to visit last year for 3 weeks only. That's it
May I ask is your home country peaceful and considered a Canadian friend? You do not have to mention the country name. I am just curious to why they are asking you for so many details if you've only traveled once and for 3 weeks.

Hey guys, we received fingerprint requests despite only a few visit trips to home country, my cousin only leave for 7 days out of his time here and has many buffer dates yet they request for finger prints, health care claim history, complete history records, is this a standard process now to delay applications? It is frustrated to be in such situation where you have many more days than required and only leave Canada for 3 short trips (1-2 weeks each), yet being questioned as if we are living all our lives abroad and pretending to be in Canada. We also work here, have income deposited every months (that we submitted documents), and also paying tax every year, we did also submit phone and utilities bill, property tax and everything

I got my test invite this morning to appear for the test on Oct'11th. Rest of the details awaited in the mail.

Good luck everyone!
Hi JJS, Congrats on the test invite.

I have a question. How did you come to know of the test invite? is it through ecas status change from in process to something or did you receive an email or mail itself? The reason I am asking is, I noticed that my mailing address on ecas is wrong (somehow they have my brother's old address from where he moved couple years ago as my mailing address). I went back to check the application copy I sent to them and I have filled in all the correct information. Don't know how and why they have this wrong mailing address.
I used online web form to communicate the CIC about the wrong mailing addrss thay have on my ecas but I am yet to hear from them.

Did anyone run into this kind of issue? Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks,
Bhanump

Will I know from ecas, if they have sent the test invitation letter out to my "mailing address"? Thanks in advance for the replies.

You can update your address directly on ECaS but it will take a few days. Yes, it is not rare to see errors on mailing address on ECaS. I would go and update it without waiting for their reply to web form. It may take long...

With all these requests other people get for extra documents that are not easy to get, I am kind of relieved that I have no news on my application since August. I guess "no news - good news" is the motto I will have to console myself with during this wait...

It seems like it's taking longer to receive test invites now . Nothing happened for july applicants so far , only a very small number of people .
