Please update status.

We sent you a notice on December 8, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 5, 2018 at 7:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment

Please update my status

Congrats!!!!

Did you check your status or received an email from them?
Thanks

Received an email from IRCC. Status has not changed yet. Email literally came an hour before. May be they will update the system at the end of the day.

It happens sometimes where the email is actually faster than the web updated. Within 24 hours, they should be in sync...

Just apply for renewal of PR card. I applied for renewing my PR in September and got new card in November.
Thanks!

Do they check PR card for citizenship test.
Also why is my application taking so long. Other ppl also waiting for tests and all?

Hey Guys!
I applied in July for citizenship!
I got application recieved 26 August
I got email that we started working on your application on 6 sep
I haven’t heard anything from CIC.
The problem is my PR CARD is expiring on 1 March. What’s should I do ?! Do they check the PR card ?!

Also my immigration office is Mississauga. I think. As I live in Mississauga.

Thanks A lot for feedback!!

I have heard that they check your PR card on the test day. But you can still apply and become a citizen if your PR card is expired. Source; https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ship/become-canadian-citizen/eligibility.html. The instructions clearly say that you don’t need a valid PR card to apply for citizenship. After-all, an expired PR card does not mean that you are not a PR of Canada anymore. If you plan to travel, you can renew your PR card. Else, I would not worry.

Could you please update the spreadsheet with my following info:
