Hi My wife was approved as a sponsor 4 days ago and they sent the app to VO in Moscow,Russia. We would like to apply for my TRV so me and my wife we can attend an event in Canada for which we have an invitation, what's the chances they approve the TRV?

Just curious, Does immigration do background check for your sponsorship application? Do they verify all of the information we provide, and check its validity , other documents; or do they actually visit, make reference calls for background check?

Received an email from VO for police certificate requested. The certificates from each country in which you have spent 6 consecutive months or more since the age of 18. Does anyone (PA) need to submit that or already done upfront?

MyCIC says medical passed . ECas says started processing application on Aug 31.
So medical review, is it done in Mississauga or respective VO.

I m going to Toronto at the first ten days of November but i do not think i ll get my PR untill then. My wife ia already in Canada
Do you think that i will have some issues at the borders?
