Hi we applied on July 11th and they started processing on July 28th,I was able to see my application as a sponsored person and it says they received it on July 11th and they also received my medical, in my wife's case it says that application in process,does it mean that we get SA soon? CB before I wasn't able to open my application. Please explain...

I am pretty sure this means that you will be getting SA soon. I experienced this yesterday where the status of both said "In Process" and I received my SA a few hours later.

Hi guys, we were not given our AOR email and was worried the whole time, but no news is good news Becuz they recieved it July 15 2016 and I just got
the SA today August 24 and they said it has been sent to Manila for processing yay! how do i put this info on the side?

Is that for MyCIC? Well, i gave up with the linking of my app there. Seems to me like it doesn't work whatever combination i try i checked ECAS, it hasn't changed status yet. Application received for PA and In process for SA. I do hope i will get some good news soon.

my timeline

Application sent: July 17
Application Received:July 20
AOR 1:August 11
Sponsorship Approval Mail: 24 August

Does sponsorship approval mail means AOR 2.

Yes My CIC when you're linking you have to put all the information about the the person who is getting sponsored. If it's only you and ur partner you put 2 persons in total. Hope it will help you linking your application ✌

Hi,

I sent my wife's application and it says on the Canada post tracking that it was received July 17, 2016 (which was sent with signature requirement).

I haven't received any email or mail back.
It says on ECAS

1) We received your application for permanent residence on July 19, 2016.
2) Medical results have been received.


Right now I'm anxiously waiting for SA...anything that could be an update.
Not sure what the update of the application is. Should I be worried?

I don't know if it helps - but the combo that finally worked for me was Application Number and Family Name!

My husbands Permanent Resident Application has started being processed as of August 23.

I'm having a lot of trouble linking the application to MyCIC. I do the Application # and UCI #, then I enter my husbands information into the "Applicants personal info", so his city of birth and then his passport information. Then I fill in where he intends to live, married and I've been putting 1 as the total persons...

Should I be putting 2?

Yes, put two. I am being sponsored and had a UCI before. Linking worked for me, using my UCI, despite that my sponsor got her own UCI in the AOR email.

We got SA yesterday! Was expecting to see a transfer to Vienna, but it appears that it will go to Ottawa. That would be cool as we are both living in Canada

Oooh, alright! I'll have to wait now until the lock comes off. : Hopefully it will work.

Congrats on getting SA! Ours went to Ottawa as well and is already in process! Crossing my fingers it won't be an excruciating wait, lol!

Hello!

On the day I received my SA email, I experienced this as well. When I checked my ECAS in the morning it said Sponsor Application "In Process" and then it also had changed the Permanent Resident Application to "In Process" as well and had updated that his medical results had been received. A couple hours later I got SA!

So I believe you should be getting your SA as well soon.
