87arq, wasn't August 18th the same day that your Background Check passed from Not Needed at this Time to In Progress?

mmmmm....dont know. Let me check my post here in the forum and I will tell you.

Yes! You are right! Good eye buddy. I didn't notice that. Yes, It looks like my background check changed to In Progress same day it shows in my GMCS notes as it was updated my security the next day. So it took them 1 day to check my security and come to the conclusion that No apparent concerns.

No news since that day......

I have ordered my GCMS notes last Friday. I hope I will receive my PR before they arrive.

I was looking in this forum for the applications that got the BC changed to In Progress to see if there were any patterns to relate the status change to PPR. (and obviously couldn't see any )

I wonder if changing to In Progress would kind of mean that the security was already done or pretty close to that...
