Hi guys,

My work permit is expiring in July 2016, and I do not receive anything from CIC after AOR. I have applied under SINP. Submitted my file on Aug 2015 and Received AOR on Dec 2015.

For now, I plan to extent my work permit. Because my SINP has employment restriction, I cannot apply for the bridging open work permit. I wonder whether I need to ask my employer to apply for Labour Market Impact Assessment. Is there any body else who is in the same situation or has heard from anyone about such situation?

Can any one help me explain what should I do?

Thanks,

You don't need LMIA for PNP WP

Your employer will need to register with employer portal and pay $220 Compliance fee, then enter the Job verification code it generates in your IMM form.

In employer portal, mention your job is LMIA exempted because you have province nomination under R204(c) and LMIA exemption code T13

also,

wih your AOR, I believe you could apply for an open bridge work permit. it might not exceed a year in validity though but it is also an option for you Supercow

I called CIC and the lady told me that they send email request for additional documents. I have no idea what they want again as I haven't received any email yet (dated May 17 or later) I have already submitted my RPRF payment, updated Schedule A with personal history, birth certificate of my child born in Canada, medical test forms received after appointment, fingerprints. I was ask for all those documents before (last May 5)

We received the medical request today :D :D. We did it upfront last March. I have sent the tracking number the doctor give me through ECAS. I have asked him to send the information electronically, just in case.

Our timeline
Application received July 28th
AOR November 06th
Medical Request May 20th.

Good luck for all of us.

Hi MONKUCHA is ur ECAS updated with medical results??because I also did my upfront medical on 25 April 2016 but my ECAS is not updated yet with medical results...pls reply..thanks

no, it doesn't show anything about medical.
It shows me 4th line which states that they sent me correspondence on May 17, but I haven'e received anything yet.
I called CIC call center twice, On Friday, May 20 they told me that the email was send and i have to wait 5 days and call again if not received. So I called again yesterday and they told me the email was send on May 17 and as I haven't received it they will send a request to resend it. So, I am still waiting for the email. By the way no one was willing to tell me what the email is about precisely, just that it is request for some more info.

I have the fourth line that is an email asking for updated Police Certificate. I heard it could be for schedule A or RPRF or anything you need to submit.

Since you did upfront medical, I have a question:

Did your doctor give you an emedical information sheet that contains your passport information? Did you upload that? Thanks.
The information sheet did not contain my UCI or any immigration related info.

I received request for fingerprints and updated police check on May 5th, Remainder of RPRF and schedule A in March so I don't know that they want again.

I received a form that contains passport info and tests performed. I submitted it a week after I did tests and after I got confirmation from the doctor that my results were sent to CIC.
