Application received on 6th July.. saw eCAS this morning and it had 3 lines (instead of 2) under sponsor. 60 days today since application received so hopefully SA given ..

Under in process following are written:

1) We received your application to sponsor (XXXXXX) on July 8, 2015.
2) We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your
application(s) on August 8, 2015.
3) We started processing your application on August 7, 2015.
4) We sent you correspondence on September 3, 2015 about the decision
on your application.

I have not received any email as of Sept 5th. Don't know its a good news or bad news. Item number 4 is confusing. Anyone have any idea whether its normal for CIC writes like this?

Yup. Sometimes the email comes way early and the eCAS update is super delayed. Or the other way around. If your the status in your PR gets a third line stating that a file was received from CIC, then most probably your sponsor application was approved. Sometimes email and eCAS are unreliable. They aren't updated consistently.

Our ecas reads:

We received your application to sponsor XXXX XXXX on July 13, 2015.

Dependents listed on the application are: (Husband's Child)
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 11, 2015.

Hmmm. This child will not be immigrating. We did however include the medical and all information as requested and emphasized child is not being sponsored but rather staying with my husbands ex wife. Is it normal for this to show in ecas if the child will not be immigrating?

Yes I got AOR1 but still waiting for SA. My file was received on July 29th, 2015
