HEllo I am July applicant no update on my status still application received

Same here ...There are a lot of us from July with visa offices abroad that have no changes in our ECAS nor any communication from the VO.

Chris.

If I hadn't annoyed cic and asked for notes, I would still only know my application was received. They didn't update mine yet, but from notes it says in progress. So don't be discouraged if you don't see anything

Well I got quite the surprise today. I hadn't checked my ECAS in over a week (since it was getting disappointing to do so) only to check to day and see "In process"! I nearly jumped out of skin. I even scared my hubby who was cooking breakfast (at 8pm yeah I know kinda late). Looks like they started processing on March 31st. Guess my birthday was good for something! :D

It's never too late for breakfast!

Congrats!which visa office was your application at?

For those who have applied Outland and have received permanent residence, how long did it take until the time you sent in your application until the time you received your permanent residence. We applied inland and it has been a year already, and the wait times are saying it will be at least 27 more months. We are debating about withdrawing that application, then my spouse would move back to the states so she could work in the mean time, and then send in an Outland application.

Also, why is it so much quicker to receive permanent residence when applying with an Outland application?

Any advice?

Thanks

Yeehaw

The time frame for outland depends on which visa office you are applying from.As for why it is quicker its because normally an outland application is because the spouse is away from heir partner and they try to quickly reconnect families together. Your husband can stay in Canada while applying for an outland application but can not work while waiting.

Congratulations!!! nice to see Manila starting to move again on July apps.
Hoping our turn is very soon as well.

Was there any change to "In process" or any notification on your ECAS before the PPR?

Chris
