Just logged into ecas and my status is now DECISION MADE!

Does CIC update from application received to in processing? or just received to decision made?
We haven't heard a single thing since SA... Just wondering if we should have heard more yet or not.

I am wondering the same thing, we haven't heard anything since we got the SA on September 16th, ECAS still just shows "medicals recieved" and we know they recieved the CSQ a couple of weeks ago, seems there is nothing left they would want but still no change

Yeah we were wondering since it says application received under permanent residence application and when we open it says application received and medicals received. What is CSQ?

What is CSQ?

It is another form that is used if you are going to be sponsored into Quebec.

Same thing here, but still no medicals received. Just Application Received, and 'We received your application for permanent residence on July 16, 2014. Almost 4 months of looking almost everyday seeing the exact same things Although, realistically, I don't expect to see anything until after January.

My husband heard that it takes 2 months after completing the medical for them to actually get to the embassy (sigh...Cuba). So if yours were done in September, I would guess that by the end of November, it might be updated to medicals received.

The application for my wife was received July 17 and was updated to medicals received on Sept 23 same time we received AOR2. Medical may have been in ecas before sept 23 as we didn't check ecas as often as we do now.

Hopefully we hear something soon. I've seen a few people changed to in processing recently from June applicants, and a few got decision made in October. So fingers crossed for us all!

So because CIC says that it is at least 16 months for Ottawa applications, is that how long we are expecting before we hear back??
I just know most people have been saying 6-8months from the time of sending in application.

I am also an applicant for july 2014, our application went to the Manila VO. Just checked ECAS yesterday and it says decision made. Does that mean that our application has been approved and we should be getting our PR visa shortly? Or is there extra steps still needed to be done?

I believe you will be posted a COPR, you will need this when you cross the border, you will not be a PR until you have landed.

My husband and I sent our application in on July 2, 2014 - we have heard absolutely NOTHING. No mail/email notification of sponsor approval?

What can be going wrong here?
