They aren't necessary looking for the form date to be updated but the information. They seem to do that :( they have asked me to send an updated form and the date has not changed on the form at all . I have sent this form twice.

In this forum someone (ttnguyen17) commented the following before

<SNIP>

First, when our application was initially returned to us in error, we sent it back immediately along with a cover letter which indicated we would be CC'ing the Minister of CIC on the correspondence.
I did so by email and received an immediate auto-reply saying something along the lines of "We have received your correspondence and someone will get back to you within two weeks however we don't acknowledge complaints,
individual claims, etc." So I thought that would go nowhere.
HOWEVER! I did receive a reply a MONTH after I sent that email from one of the Minister's aides telling me that they inquired into our case and told CIC to reinstate us at our original application date!
I was quite surprised! We received SA on September 8th.

Not exactly sure how they have included Minister of CIC. It might be worth to know.

after 90 of waiting for sponsorship approval.
this is what i got from CIC today.
i need advice please:

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of xxxxxxxxxxx xxxx xxxxx and family (if applicable).

We have reviewed your application and regret to advise that you are not an eligible sponsor for the following reason(s):
• You have not submitted an application for a member of the family class. You did not declare the applicant to Citizenship and Immigration Canada on your own Application for Permanent Residence or at the time you became permanent resident of Canada. As such, you do not meet regulation 117(9)(d). Please refer to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations listed below for details.
• Given this ineligibility issue, we have not reviewed any other sponsorship criteria at this time. In the event the visa officer considers processing the application for permanent residence, he/she will notify this office and a full review of all sponsorship eligibility requirements will be done. You may be contacted for additional information should that occur.

You indicated on your sponsorship application that you wish to continue with its processing regardless of any ineligibility. As such, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for consideration.

Your ineligibility to sponsor will be a significant factor in the assessment of the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s). A final decision regarding that application shall be made by a visa officer and will be communicated to you and your relative. Instructions regarding the Right to Appeal will be issued as applicable by the visa office. Please note that the Right to Appeal may only be exercised after the visa officer has rendered a final decision.

I'm not sure what advise any one can give you at this stage. You are ineligible to sponsor your spouse ever. They will have to look for another option to obtain PR.

Ok so two things have happened here 1) they believe you were common-law when you applied for your PR. 2) You were sponsored by another spouse .I would cancel the application and send for your GMCS notes and fix the problem If none of these apply you could contact your MP and ask them to make a query .

I just read your other post , you were married when you landed .You can not land if you applied as a single person but you wasn't. You were married. It doesn't matter that you applied when you were single.whats matters now is that you are not eligible to sponsor your wife. You may be able to sponsor your daughter if she was born after you landed . So sorry but they aren't going to change their mind.

If you get married after you file your PR application, you must declare it to CIC. If you don't, you must declare all the changes in your family when you land. Because you didn't declare your new spouse in the moment of landing, CIC won't allow you to sponsor them.

I went to check our July's spreadsheet and there's nothing on it. Did somebody deleted it? :/

Sorry to hear your news, Alexji. As a fellow July Outland applicant it has been really disappointing to read your updates today. I really hope you can find a way to resolve your situation and reunite your family in Canada. All the best.
