I've been trying to tell you, they sent you a LETTER in the mail with your Sponsorship Approval. Some people have been getting letters instead of emails. Trust me on this! I've been here for a while and I know that if you get a letter you won't get an email, and viceversa. I don't know why some people get letters instead of emails, because the people who have gotten letters for SA have written down their e-mail address. My husband wrote down his e-mail address and he still got a letter in the mail; we live in Canada and it arrived 5 days after they sent it. Stop stressing about it because you're only going to drive yourself crazy. So unless your Sponsorship was denied (unlikely), congratulations! You're about to receive a letter in the mail with your SA!

Also, one more detail in case it hasn't been mentioned here before: it will be the SPONSOR who will receive an email about SA, or who will receive the letter. It is the sponsor the only one who can communicate with the CIC call centre about sponsorship approval. If you are the principal applicant and you call the call centre, the agents won't tell you whether your sponsor was approved or not. They'll only tell THE SPONSOR whether they were approved or not.

Hey Guys Thanks alot for all the info and help,
I think I am going to call CIC tomorrow to ask them if I am approved as the sponsor considering its been over 2 weeks since they have sent me something in the mail, but I have not received anythng yet. I have heard of mails being delay by 2 weeks but not more unless its misplaced.
I am hoping its good news too but just concerned if its a request to send updated forms or something on those line. Hoping for the best. Anyone have the number handy for cic?

In my case, when I called them to inquire about the status of my application; I was told that they have sent me an e-mail which I never received; not even in junk mails. So they sent me a letter by regular mail about the acknowledgement of my application.

Regarding SA, I just receive the e-mail where they specified that I will not be issued any letter separately. I was advised that I can use the copy of e-mail for further correspondence or processing.

Does anyone know how to log in to check your online status? We received our SA August 28th.

Enter your UCI number..... will be on your SA form/email
Enter last name
Enter DOB
Enter place of birth and hit continue

You may also try your Application number also shown on your SA

I sent my Application on 21 july 2014 Received by CIC on the 23rd July 2014.
I can see on Ecas it is mentioned that,

Does that mean i have got the sponsorship approval or AOR?

I have not received anything in the mail yet but remember put an email, Havnt received an email either.

Can anyone tell me what email address will the email come from?
I remember reading in the application that if we mention an email all coresspondance will be done via email.

Has anyone got any emails from cic? Whats is the email address they send it from? Will need to check my Junk folder.
Did any of you guys receive a letter in the mail too?

Have been trying to contact CIC frantically since this morning but I keep tell me that they are experiencing high call volumes.

Great news! I am sure it won't put you back too much. There's a whole slew of delayed SAs due to the form switching to August 2014. Hopefully, the Paris VO will have less applications to deal with due to this. Of course, this is a positive conjecture at my expense since I am one of those lucky 'contestants' who got the 'please update form' email.

My husband has children from a previous marriage and he needs to proof that his ex is in full custody of the children. Also he needs to sign a from to declare that he will not request to sponsor his children at a later stage, since his ex doesn't want the kids to have medicals or police clearances.
