just to relieve some tension, I come up of the idea of sharing the person who signed our applications.

mine was signed by some one called Macrury in courier center in Sydney.

let's share to confirm postal service just didn't throw us with fake names and signatures.

Mine was signed by D. Maccuray. I am betting it's the same person as it's probably difficult for the couriers to decode the signatures! I've seen a few other posts here with people having their package signed by the same person.

One interesting thing was that with Fedex, I sent the application to 49 Dorchester Street but it showed that D. Maccuray signed for the package at 47 Dorchester Street. It appears this address is part of the same CRA/CIC building so if you see this address I don't think you have anything to worry about!

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum, I tried to search for an answer to my query but couldn't find one, so if you have unintentionally answered a question on an application form incorrectly is there away to correct it? or should I wait till I see if I pass the cap threshold, after that can it be highlighted and corrected? your answers and feedback are truly appreciated.

Thanks

Dana

You don't remember the dates?! I'd advise you do some research and find the dates (it only requires month-year) and declare it -- do not hide information...
got those dates via service Canada through ROE.

Hi everyone! Hope someone can help me. I'm quite confused on the number of days I was absent in Canada. When I went to Mexico, my flight left Canada in January 20, 2014 and arrived in Mexico on the same day. And then left Mexico on the 25th and landed in Canada on the same day.

Will I put: Absence- January 21 to January 24?
Or Absence-January 20 to January 25?
Thank you so much. :)

The citizenship calculator will take care of this by itself. As per guide, you can either add the day you left or the day you came but not both. In your case you can add Jan. 20 in your calculation but leave Jan. 25th out of it or viceversa.

The easiest way is to use residence calculator.

For question 6.F Work History.

I used to work as a freelancer web developer before coming into Canada and the first few months since I arriving here, but my clients were not Canadians.

1. Should I specify that I was working as a freelancer?
2. how can I certify that I was doing so? What counts as proof? (client letters)?
3. Should I add two rows to specify the City, Country? (before and after coming to Canada)

Thanks

No. Just put your date accurately.
Yes the calculator takes care of it but you do not need to put the wrong date(20 instead of 21). If you leave on 1st and return on 15th the calculator will count the 15th because you would spend the night here. so your total would be 14 days outside Canada.
