Call 613.944.4000 and follow the options to get a Rep. You may get a Rep refusing to continue since you are calling from outside but you can try again until you get someone helpful. There is a wait time of around 15-20 mins most of the times and sometimes if the queue is too long the IVR will advice you to call later and disconnect.

They say once you have an AOR you can apply. So try to do it online. Go through the assessment online and it will give you a profile number if you are eligible.

No. You can file your BOWP online via MyCIC. Nothing is needed from your employer

If you are already in Canada then you dont have to submit Itinerary doc, travel.

But on online application process it is under mandatory "required documents".

You can attach a letter of explanation stating that you are already in Canada and this does not applies to you.

Everyone who is waiting for their medical request. Have you called call centre and asked about the status?

I called in morning and got answered they are finalizing my Background Checks. I am not sure if it is true?

Apply for GCMS notes if you like.

I called CIC today and they told back ground verification is in progress in Ottawa...WAIT WAIT..I asked what are the next steps...they did not answered anything...
