No all they said is

All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable. When attaching your document(s), please ensure that they are smaller than 5MB and that each document is attached individually.

The above information/documents must be received in our office within 30 days from the date of this letter. Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the address indicated below

and they have address along with email address CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca, so I am assuming I would be ok to email.

After two hours I have sent the documents, I just got an email asking medical for my wife. how does that work?

Congrats Karan,

Check with the physician's office if they are e-medical enabled. If yes then you don't need to carry any photographs just the passport.

Generally a medical request is seen as a positive sign that your application is in fine shape and progressing smoothly.

Best of luck.
It's e-medical so I am good I guess. Thanks a lot bud.

Hi admin,

Received medical request yesterday 04-17.
Please update spreadsheet.

To all experienced members in Toronto/Ontario area:
Please advise which doctor you would recommend as being the quickest/most-efficient to be able to upload results electronically & fastest amongst the list of panel doctors? I can drive up to 1-2 hours for it from Toronto.

Thanks! Help is much appreciated.

Thank you . Actually , I have booked appointment for upfront medicals on 10 April ,but luckily I got the MR on the same day.

I've received request for Police Clearance Certificate for my wife for country where she got here second higher education. She was in the country during one year in two terms but each of them was less than 6 month. To get this certificate is a real trouble, because it requires to do lots of translations and mailing.

Is it worth it to send explanation letter to CIC declaring that she was there less than 6 month in a row?

Can they cancel this requirement?

Dear Admin,

Please update spreadsheet:

Medical Request: April 2
Medical Done: April 10
Medical Received: April 19

Highly recommend Dr. Garrett in Kitchener; nice, efficient and everything in one building.

Cheers,
