I advise against you mailing them about a new employer.

1. As long as you had 1 year of qualified work experience you are eligible for CEC. After that 1 year, you can change job, be unemployed, do whatever you want, IMO CIC couldn't care less. Of course this applies ONLY to CEC as PNP would be a VERY DIFFERENT case.

2. I haven't read from anywhere that any update in employment has to be sent to CIC for CEC application, for the same reason as #1.

3. CEC has literally hundreds of thousands of files on their shelves, I really wouldn't want to mess that process up by adding more unnecessary documents, or complexities.

Hossein810 did the right thing. What if CIC calls at his past work place for which he claimed work experience and receives something in return like "he doesn't work here or no body like this works here". They gonna issue him an procedural fairness letter calling his work experience as a misrepresentation. So its better to tell them about employment change.

You have to report it to CIC any changes in your occupation. It said in the AOR email.
I decided to go back to school last year, so I called CIC for their advise. They told me to inform Ottawa that I have changed my occupation.
Would not hurt you to inform them.

Do we need to inform CIC about BOWP extension?

Mate, why would you do that? CIC gave you a BOWP!!!!
They know that already.

Hi Everyone,

I am filling GCMS form, got stuck at 'section c' - you must write your designated individuals contact information

By default AZIZ HAMAD is there. Can some one help me what to fill in that column.

Thanks and regards,
Mahesh

AHhh I see that makes sense. Guess the best thing to do is NOT to make any move or changes while on the wait. It's not that long anyway (or is it?).

I am not sure if RCMP will send to CIC. I also did it at an agency and received the results from RCMP. Then I sent it to CIC.
