Good news!

recieved this email this morning:

Your application has reached the final stage of processing. So that your permanent resident

visa(s) can be issued, you must now submit the documents listed below. (Note that family

members who are entitled to Canadian citizenship must travel on their Canadian passports.)

1. Two recent photographs of yourself and two recent photographs of each of your

accompanying family members. The photos must meet the Photo Specifications as detailed

in Appendix A.

2. The “Updated Information Chart” in Appendix B, fully completed for you and each

accompanying family member.

3. A photocopy of the photo and personal information pages of your passport and of the

passport(s) of your accompanying spouse and dependent children to our office in London.

ECAS still hasn't updated beyond "medical results have been recieved" but it looks like the wait is over! thank you to everyone on this board for your advice and help, this is what has kept us going the last few months, thank you again and good luck to everyone still waiting on PR :)

Hi,
you can take any kind of job now (skilled as well as unskilled). You can also be unemployed. Your PR application is based on your past experience.

Thanks a lot for the reply bud. Happy new year.

Hi Guys,

I have done couple of business trips to China while working in Canada, based on my employer request.
been in China for 2.5 months overall.
Does that 2.5 months considered towards my Canadian work experience?
should I send a explanation letter to CIC, explaining that?

Thanks.

Hossein

You should add yourself into May Applicants as you applied in May 2014. Below is the link:

hey guys, my friend who applied in May 2014 recently got a request through email asking him to provide rcmp fingerprint and Toronto police background checks. A bit of background info is that he didn't submit any background check with his original application.

Question is when you submitted your original background check, did you submit rcmp finger print?? I didn't know fingerprint was required so I only provided a regular police background check.... thanks for your reply in advance.

Some applicants submit their RCMP check with their application but it is not a mandatory requirement. I also submitted my applications without RCMP check and so far there has not been any requests so far.
